PlayStation Tournaments Launches for PS5

The long-awaited feature is finally announced. The official release of PlayStation Tournaments is coming to PlayStation 5 per the announcement by Sony on November 29. On-console competitive gaming tournaments will be available on the system.

The First PlayStation Tournament games will be Guilty Gear Strive, NBA 2K23, and FIFA 23, per the press release. The tournament is kicking off via a Win-a-Thon event which is a leaderboard tournament. Such prizes as new PlayStation 5s; and DualSense Edge controllers, plus ever-welcome cash, will be offered by Win-a-Thon.

It sounds like a new era has begun, and we’ll see lots of news of the tournament in the not-too-distant future.
